Duo With Protective Orders Charged With Assaulting Each Other In Milford

An area man and woman who both had protective orders against each other were arrested for allegedly getting into a fight with each other.

The Milford Police department arrested an area man and woman for assaulting each other while a protective order was in place for both.

John Derry, 20, of Milford, and Jenaya Lambre, 21, of Stratford, were arrested on Monday, Nov. 2, for allegedly getting into an altercation in Milford with each other while they both have active orders of protection against each other, Milford Police said.

Lambre is also accused of pepper-spraying a male in close proximity to a juvenile in October 2020.

Derry was charged with violation of a protective order and breach of peace.

Violation of a Protective Order
Breach of Peace
Assault
Risk of Injury
Reckless Endangerment

They were released on a promise to appear tickets.
